How does it work?

It is called the “cylinder” or “loc” system.

Your hair is strung through a tiny cylinder,

then the hair extension strand is inserted,

and the coil is securely clamped shut with a tool .

There is no heat, glue, keratin, fusion, or chemicals.

Your own hair lies over the attached hair invisibly.

The coils match your roots to lay flat invisibly.

Is this safe for my hair?

Yes.

There is no tension, stretching, or chemicals

used for the application or removal process.

Damage is caused by misleading you that you

can go more than three months without a maintenance.

Your hair will mat, dread lock, and tangle.

Many stylists are not trained as to how to care for this

and just cut your own hair because they don’t know

what else to do.

Damage is caused by someone untrained as to how to detangle a maintenance. This is NOT taught in the certification class at all.

Damage is caused by using a sharp tool to open the coils instead of squeezing them open without inserting anything. This is NOT taught in the certification class.

Your hair’s safety is my main concern above all else.

How do you remove them?

I simply place the flattened coil into a tool and unflatten it.

Then I slip the extension away from the coil revealing your perfectly safe hair underneath.

This is not possible with fusion or weave methods.

Take a look at what glue and braiding can do to your hair.

Run from the glue.

Can you see or feel them?

Practically not.

They lie flat, not circular like fusion systems.

Not bulky like a weft.

They match your root 99% of the time.

This also allows me to put them very high up on your

head to further disguise your own hair and blend

with the extension hair.

You cannot do that with fusion and weaves and that’s why they look tacky and fake.

How long do they last?

The hair is reusable with regular adjustments.

The life of the hair depends on what you do to it.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE WHO WRITES THAT

THE HAIR IS GOOD FOREVER.

The life of the extensions depends on your care.

It is safe to say that it costs about $7 per day to have

this hair and keep it up with adjustments.

If you are being told that you can go 4-8 months

without a maintenance, you are being lied to so

that they close the deal with you.

I promise.

You must have this hair tended to regularly as with ANY extension system.

I take the time to restring every strand so that it is

as good as the first time.

Very few stylists do this cuz they are LAZY and SLOPPY and just want your money without having passion for your beauty.

I do not reuse coils.

You get new ones every time.

Otherwise they would become too sharp and

dangerous to your hair and itchy on your scalp

And they slip off too soon.

This is a client who didn’t come for 7 months

(Which is a big no no).

I can easily slip off her coils and extension hair.

Then I combed her out (was not so easy)

It took 4 hours to comb out and about 45 minutes

to put the extension hair back on.

Can you imagine if she had glue?

It would have taken double the time.

This matting happens with ANY extension system you use.

It’s simply your own hair naturally shedding and being locked into the system, and the loose ends tangling together and with your real hair.

How long does my hair have to be to get these?

I prefer you to be grown out to at least a bob length.

If your hair is shorter, you can still get them, but know that you would have to spray your own hair down daily with hairspray or gel to keep the coils covered until we grow it out longer.

Will my hair grow out?

Yes! Some of us have a set point that our hair will only grow to, but you will be able to see the growth as we make the adjustments.

With the coils, it remains virtually undetectable.

Will the hair match my color and texture?

Yes. Custom blending is my specialty.

Absolutely not.

How do I care for the hair?

You can use almost any product except silicones like

Frizz Eaze or Biosilk.

These will make the extensions slip off.

How long does it take to install?

On average for a full head 1.5 - 2 hours.

Most others take FOUR TO SIX HOURS.

They lack common sense application techniques.

I am the fastest and most meticulous artist I have ever come across.

What about using hot rollers, hot irons, and blow drying?

Anything you already do, you can continue to do.

The hair is 100% human.

The Russian hair does not hold a curl as well as the Indian.

Can I still color my hair as usual?

Yes.

Can I wear my hair up?

Yes, we will play with it when the install is finished and remove any that show, which is usually only a couple.

Can I go swimming?

Yes, absolutely.

Can this hair be pulled????

I get this question all the time.

Yes, you can be rough on occasion...lol.

Can you put these on thinning hair?

Maybe.

First I would ask your medical history, then ask

you if your hair would cover the coils.

If your scalp is visible through your hair,

You are not a good candidate for this system.

The coils will be visible through your hair.

Can I buy my own hair and bring it to you?

I guarantee you will not find hair as good as mine,

but if you think you found it on the Internet or in a store,

by all means, bring it by.

There will be an hourly rate for the install.

Can you remove my glue extensions?

I am sorry, but I just can’t bear the process.

Please go to where you got them put on and

get them off there.

Can women of color wear these?

It depends on several factors....

You MUST relax your hair so that it is very smooth at the roots.

If you have very thick natural hair, you are not a good candidate for this procedure.
